Quarterback is built on personal experience.

In 2012, faced with a career inflection point, Brian (Quarterback’s founder), took a nontraditional path. He pursued a high-impact, intensive opportunity as a volunteer inside an international development organization (and current Quarterback partner).
He traveled to Zambia as part of the experience and presented the organization’s work to decision-makers at multinationals involved in the Zambian economy. He also spent time with the beneficiaries of the organization: 350 children from one of the poorest communities in Zambia. bensonandbrian In the process, he gained valuable experience, expanded his worldview and grew in confidence. As he applied skills honed during his career in financial services, he realized that his skills were not only relevant, but in demand.
When Brian returned and started sharing his experience, his friends and colleagues (many seeking MBAs) expressed interest in doing the same: giving back full-time for a quarter. His response–“right time, right place” frustrated him as much as it did those hearing it.
Quarterback is the answer to that frustration.

Brian’s philosophy: We all have incredible capacity to make an impact. All we need is to get the right talent connected with the right opportunity and watch the sparks fly! He’s an active member of both the nonprofit and education communities, currently serving on the Community Council of NextDoor by StateFarm (a community-based innovation center) and the Young Professionals Advisory Council at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and was recently recognized as one of the 18 top alumni of the last nine years.
